Walt Disney World Railroad

This is a great train ride around the Magic Kingdom. It gives a good overview of the park.

  • Trip Time: Approximately 20 minutes to circle the entire park
  • Ride System: Steam-powered/diesel-fueled

  • Trains: The names of the four locomotives on the Walt Disney World Railroad are as follows:
    • Walter E. Disney - Steam train named for Walt Disney; red engine and red cars
    • Roy O. Disney - Steam train named for Walt Disney's brother; red engine and blue cars
    • Lilly Belle - Steam train named for Walt Disney's wife, Lillian; green engine and green cars
    • Roger E. Broggie - Steam train named for a MAPO (formerly known as the manufacturing division of WDI, named after MAry POppins) executive; green engine and yellow cars
